Transfer Chute Analysis with Discrete Element and Continuum Modelling

Discrete element modelling and continuum modelling are the main methods employed for chute design projects. This article will show examples of each and discuss the main benefits and drawbacks of each method. This article describes why the two methods should be employed when designing chutes and discusses how the two methods can complement each other.
